I am fascinated by the rich, dynamic, and sometimes "chaotic" information-ideology landscape in South Asia, particularly Pakistan and India, and have been trying to figure out how various political players, both domestic and international, secular and religious, historical and contemporary, disseminate information and ideas through traditional and new media platforms. Methodologically, I am equally passionate in both applying and innovating NLP methods and tools for processing text data in Urdu and Hindi.
