Careers in political science
The best resource on campus for learning about different careers after you graduate and how to prepare for them is the University of Illinois's Career Center. You should start with the following pages in the Center's website in particular:
- What can I do with my political science major? The Center offers a broad overview of the kinds of careers political science majors have pursued and the ways they've gotten ready for them.
- The Exploring Pathways in Career Success (EPICS) site. This site invites you to consider your own talents, skills, and interests, and points you to career options you should consider and ways to choose among your options and get any additional preparation for the careers in which you're most interested.
