Robert Pahre, Adam Irish, and Alex Balas receive LAS Dean's Awards for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching (Updated)
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has announced that Professor Robert Pahre is one of the winners of this year's Dean's Awards for Undergraduate Teaching, in recognition of his innovations in the classroom, including incorporating both on-line and experiential learning into his courses.
Also, the College has announced that political science PhD students Adam Irish and Alex Balas will receive the Dean's Award for Undergraduate Teaching by Graduate Teaching Assistants—Adam for the Department of Political Science, and Alex for the Global Studies Program.
Congratulations to all three awardees for keeping our department's strong reputation for undergraduate instruction going!
UPDATE 3/21: The Office of the Provost has also awarded Professor Pahre and Adam Irish Awards for Excellence in Instruction, that office's annual campuswide undergraduate teaching award. So, congratulations are due again!
