Admissions Application
Application deadline for Fall 2012 admission is January 2, 2012.
A complete application consists of:
- Application form and fee.
- Personal statement (why you wish to study at the University of Illinois).
- A sample of your written work (such as a paper written for a Political Science class).
- Transcripts of all universities attended (whether or not a degree was awarded).
- A minimum of 3 letters of reference.
- GRE score report (we need only the University code: 1836).
- TOEFL score report (If English is not your first language).
Applicants should submit all application materials through the UIUC Graduate College's online application process. Please do not mail them to our department. Your references will be prompted by email to upload their letters. If they are unable to do so, they may send their letters to the address below:
