Jay I. Sarver

Jay I. Sarver graduated from UIUC in 1973. He then went on to get an MBA from Washington University, St. Louis, in 1975. He was selected to join Phi Beta Kappa based on his undergraduate achievements and Beta Gamma Sigma based on his graduate record.

Mr. Sarver began a retailing career and in 1981 founded Word Technology Systems, a computer supply firm. He sold his firm to Boise Cascade Office Products in 1995 and retired. Subsequently, he started The Iota Group, a consulting firm. Mr. Sarver also is an active volunteer in many foundations and non-profit organizations. He is on the Board of Governors of The Jewish Agency for Israel, an international organization responsible for relief, rescue and resettlement of Jews throughout the world. He also sits on the board of Jewish Education Services of North America and Hillel and is president of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, a past member of Young President's Organization, and a member of Wexner Heritage Foundation. He was past Vice President of the American Jewish Congress and a past officer and board member of the Jewish Community Center in St. Louis.

Mr. Sarver is married, has four children, and has run nine marathons.
