Jerry Nerad
Jerry Nerad graduated from UIUC in 1964 with a joint degree in Political Science and History. Since graduation he has invested his energies in a business his family created in 1953. TimeMed Labeling Systems was founded in 1953 by the Nerad family and is the leading provider of barcode labeling systems designed for applications in the healthcare industry. Mr. Nerad has been active in the business for thirty-five years; he is currently president and majority owner. His leadership has led to a tripling of TimeMed’s business over the past two decades. His success has been recognized by leadership awards from the trade association (TLMI), the Young President’s Organization and the Chicago President’s Organization. Mr. Nerad is also the owner of Vanderbilt Inn Naples, a 150 room resort hotel in Naples, FL.
Mr. Nerad has been married to his wife, Ann, for thirty-five years; they have three grown children. He is also an art collector and an "exercise freak."
